The cornea is the front transparent part of your eye and is responsible for two-thirds of the eye's focusing power. Corneal edema is a condition where fluid builds up within the cornea of the eye. Symptoms commonly associated with corneal edema include blurry vision and seeing halos or rainbows around bright light. If you suspect that you may have corneal edema, you need to go see your health care provider as soon as possible to get a correct diagnosis and proper treatment in order to prevent further eye complications.
