- Indications:
Use for minor bumps, cuts, scrapes and bruises, muscle aches, strains,
sprains, headaches, toothaches, minor burns and insect bites. Cold
therapy is recommended for the first 48 hours after an injury. Do not
use this cold pack for heat therapy.
- Directions: Store cold pack in
freezer for at least two hours. Insert the cold pack into the cover
provided or wrap in a lightweight towel before use. Clean the injured
area. Apply a sterile bandage if the skin is broken. Raise the injured
area. Raise the injured area and apply the cold pack to help reduce
swelling. Remove pack if it becomes uncomfortable. Reapply in a few
moments if comfortable. However, do not apply for longer than 20
minutes. After applying for 20 minutes, leave the injured area
uncovered for 20 minutes before applying another cold pack. Remove the
cold pack after 20 minutes. Leave the injury uncovered for 20 minutes.
Use only with enclosed cover or cloth for insulation to prevent
frostbite. Watch carefully when using with children and the elderly
whose skin may freeze easily. Check for leaks before use. Avoid
puncturing. Throw away if punctured or leaking.

circulatory problems should not use any cold packs except as directed
by a doctor. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

bittering agent has been added to discourage consumption. Even though
the gel in the cold pack is nontoxic, it should not be consumed.
Suggested First Aid: If contents contact skin or eyes remove pack
immediately. Thoroughly flush with water. If swallowed, do not induce
vomiting. Call a doctor or poison control center immediately. If you
have any questions about a major injury or if swelling or pain
persists, talk to your doctor. Cold therapy is recommended for the
first 48 hours after an injury. Do not use this cold pack for heat
therapy.
