Benadryl Allergy Ultratab Tablets

Benadryl Allergy temporarily relieves these symptoms due to the common cold: runny nose sneezing.

Benadryl is an antihistamine. Diphenhydramine blocks the effects of the naturally occurring chemical histamine in the body.

Benadryl is used to treat sneezing; runny nose; itching, watery eyes; hives; rashes; itching; and other symptoms of allergies and the common cold.

Benadryl is also used to suppress coughs, to treat motion sickness, to induce sleep, and to treat mild forms of Parkinson's disease.

Benadryl may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

If needed, repeat dose every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 6 times in a 24 hour period.

WARNINGS:

Do not use with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use the you have: Glaucoma, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if your are taking, sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: marked drowsiness may occur. Avoid alcoholic drinks. alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness . Be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Excitability may occur, especially in children. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. keep out of reach of children. in case of ovrdose, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.
